How do the Academic Competence Courses work?

Academic Competence Courses are conducted in accordance with the curriculum of individual subjects within the fields of study offered at UEM;

Classes are held in groups, consisting of both students and course listeners;

The credit requirements are identical for both participants of the courses and students;

Classes are conducted by academic teachers, and the quality of education is periodically inspected by the Polish Accreditation Committee;

Communication with the participant of the course will be conducted mainly via e-mail. Information sent to the e-mail address provided by the listener is considered to be forwarded to the interested party;

Admission to the course and any withdrawal from the course must be made in writing;

For some courses, prior mastery of certain skills is required to achieve appropriate learning outcomes – these are described in the course offerings as “prerequisites”.
