There are two really important elements of the admissions package that you have to get before becoming a student at our University - a proof of English proficiency and a legalisation of your diploma (or an apostille) together with a certificate stating that you are entitled to study at an university or  a college.

Important additional requirement for non-Polish citizens resulting from the legal regulations concerning recognition of school certificates and diplomas from institutions of higher education:

Only diplomas issued in Polish or English can be considered. Diplomas issued in other languages have to be translated into Polish or English by an official translator or by the Polish Embassy or Consulate.
Generally there are 2 stages in admission procedure:

  • Stage 1 in which you can arrange to become our student from abroad by mail or e-mail
  • Stage 2 in which you must present yourself personally in Admission Office to finish the formalities

Admissions procedure step by step – Stage 1:

1. Download and fill in the application questionnaire
2. Collect all additional documents (click here for the list of documents), add receipt of payment of the application fee, and send your application package to

3. University confirms receiving your application package
4. Admissions office issues decision on your documents. University sends you a pre-acceptance letter by e-mail.

5. Upon receipt of the pre-acceptance letter, you are required to send to WSEiZ within 14 days the following:
•    Receipt of payment of entry fee
•    Receipt of payment of the tuition fee for 2 monthly instalment (250 EUR/per month)
•    Four passport photographs (35x45 mm, left half-profile, left ear visible)
If, for some reason, you need more than 2 weeks to send us the required documents, contact us and we will consider your case on the individual basis.
6. University issues and sends you the official acceptance letter
Admissions procedure step by step – Stage 2:
1.Upon arrival in Warsaw, student is obliged to bring personally and present the originals of all documents + medical insurance (or European Health Insurance Card) + document authorising for stay in the territory of Poland (visa or residence permit) in Admission Office
2. Sign the agreement with the University

The admitted students are supposed to arrange their travel, medical insurance, and accommodation plans by themselves. Our University cannot be held liable for not providing you with housing, meals, or medical insurance. The responsibility for getting a visa or obtaining a residence permit and having an insurance lies solely on the incoming students.

University of Ecology and Management informs that there is a possibility for some number of prospect students to arrange the place in a studentshouse in Warsaw. Please check with Admission Office on availability.

Architecture – second cycle studies

Field of study : Architecture

Form of study : full-time (weekday classes)

Vocational title received by graduates: M.Sc. degree in Architecture.

Duration of the study : 3 semesters.

Faculty of Architecture in University of Ecology and Management - the only non-public university in Warsaw and second one in Poland – by decision of Ministry of Science and  Higher Education  was authorized to run second cycle studies in Architecture.



A graduate will have knowledge and skills in the following fields:
- architectural, urban and conservator design and spatial planning;
- history and theory of architecture, theory or urban planning, arts, technical sciences and humanities;
- shaping the human environment with due consideration of the relationships between people and architectural objects and the surrounding space;
- following procedures for preparation of designs of architectural objects, considering social factors;
- resolving functional, utility, civil, structural, engineering and technological issues to the extent that guarantees safety and comfort of use of objects, also to the disabled;
- comply with technical and construction rules, regulations and procedures, economy of design, execution and usage of an architectural object and organization of the investment process and integration of plans with planning projects in Poland and European Union Member States.
The graduate will be aware of the role of an architect's profession in the society and his influence on the quality of the environment.
A graduate will comply with the principles of professional ethics.

A graduate will be prepared for:
- commencement of creative activity in the field of architectural and urban design;
- obtaining vocational certification as required by the law;
- performing independent functions in construction;
- designing and managing works in architectural specialization;
- coordinate works in multidisciplinary project teams;
- manage architectural and urban design studios;
- carrying out a sole proprietors business;
- commencing scientific research work.

A graduate will be prepared to take up employment at:
- architectural and urban design studios,
- local and national government administration bodies,
- research institutes and advisory organizations.

International candidates are expected to submit the following documents:

  • Completed application questionnaire
  • Copy of the high school diploma with a copy of the high-school diploma
  • Copy of the bachelor’s or master’s diploma with a copy of the transcript with the grading scale
  • Copy of a certified translation (into Polish or English) of your bachelor’s or master’s diploma
  • Legalization of the bachelor’s or master’s diploma or the apostille of it (for detailed information click here)
  • Copy of your passport or official ID (only the page(s) showing your name, picture and passport number)
  • Copy of a certificate of good health from your physician

Przeniesienia z innych uczelni

Studenci, którzy rozpoczęli kształcenie w innych uczelniach, ale chcieliby się przenieść do WSEiZ powinni złożyć podanie  do Rektora, do którego powinni załączyć:

  • dokument potwierdzający przebieg studiów, wydany przez uczelnię, z której student chce się przenieść (dokument powinien zawierać liczbę godzin realizowanych przedmiotów) lub
  • uzupełniony indeks (o wszystkie wpisy i pieczątki).

Po pozytywnym rozpatrzeniu podania, student, który zaakceptuje warunki określone przez Rektora, powinien zgłosić się do Rektoratu, aby zakończyć procedurę rekrutacyjną i zapisać się na studia.
